Frequently Asked Questions
When it comes to your student’s education we understand you will have lots questions when choosing the best SAT or ACT Prep Course.
What Is The Structure Of Your SAT & ACT Classes?
We offer three main options: a weekend bootcamp that is two days, a two week option and a four week course option. The weekend bootcamp has 24 hours of total preparation hours and the 2 and 4 week courses offer 36 hours of total preparation.
How Much Are Your Courses?
After discounts, our flagship weekend bootcamp is $399 and our 2 and 4 week courses are $599. We seek to maximize your bang for buck by including more than 12 hours of preparation with real SAT exams.
What If My Child Misses Class?
The good thing about our online courses is that they are recorded. If for any reason you have to miss a session, you can make up that session at no extra cost by looking over the recorded session.
When Should My Child Take An SAT/ACT Course?
We recommend students start our courses during their freshman and sophomore years of high school. By that time, students will have begun thinking about the PSAT and be better equipped with the Math and English skillset needed to do well on the SAT and ACT. We find that sophomores, juniors and seniors are able to handle the pace of the course more easily than freshman.
Who Are Your Instructors?
Our instructors are all 98th percentile test scorers and have gone through a rigorous evaluation process. They know what it takes to improve on the exams and emphasize good tactics to take with you to any exam, not just the SAT and ACT.
Where Are Your Locations?
We are a digital company that offers online courses that are live and recorded. We plan to offer in person locations in the latter part of 2018.
Should my child take the SAT or ACT?
Both tests are equally accepted by the top universities across the nation. We actually recommend students sit for both the SAT and ACT during their junior and senior years and use the best score to apply to college.
What Kind Of Guarantee Do You Offer?
We offer a 200 point guarantee on the SAT and 4 point guarantee on the ACT provided that the student sticks with the course material, attends all the course sessions and completes all the practice tests offered. We generally find students are able to generate improvement on their scores by being systematic with their approach. Procrastinators tend not to fair as well.
How Do Online Classes Work?
Our online classes are taught in a virtual classroom program that is live over the internet. The instructor and a whiteboard are visible. The students will view a lesson that is identical to a regular classroom with a teacher at the front of the room drawing on the board. Students can use the chat box to interact with the instructor and other students. In addition, the entire class is recorded and for future viewing if students cannot attend a session or need additional review.
